Involved in the martial arts since 1986. My introduction to the martial arts started with Butokukan Karate, a traditional style. I received a green belt ranking and participated in my first tournament, placing 2nd in the heavy weight kumite division back in 1989. In Thailand I was introduced to Muay Thai – the deadly art of kickboxing.
Even though I only spent a few months training you don’t forget the toughest workouts in the world. When I got back my training never stopped as my good friend Trevor Clarkson introduced me to his system of fighting at Creative Fighters Guild, which launched my career.
